The aim of the journal is to develop and popularize the social thought of the Church in the broadly understood context of European and world affairs. The reader regularly receives an overview and analysis of issues centered around issues such as: democracy and participation, family, work and unemployment, wealth and poverty, globalization, migration, demography, European integration, social policy, mass media, sustainable development - and many others. The authors include the names of the most eminent representatives of Catholic social science from various regions of Europe and the world. The journal cooperates with a dozen or so centers for studies on the social sciences of the Church and has its own scientific committee. The Polish edition contains both carefully translated foreign materials and texts by native authors.
