This article is an attempt how a person can experience the true peace about which Jesus
Christ spoke at the Last Supper (Jn 14:27). The author starts from original sin, which was the cause
of the rupture of the relationship with God, the division between people and a source of fear, to
then show that the work of salvation, completed by Jesus Christ, opened the way for the human to
return to the relationship with God, revealed as Trinity. It is the inclusion of man in the relationship
of the Holy Trinity, full of harmony and love, that becomes the source of true peace, the ability
to love, forgive and build relationships of brotherhood. The author of the article also points out that
today the Eucharist is the place where the human being experiences the transforming love of God,
which, through close union with Christ, also leads to communion with the Father and the Holy
Spirit and, consequently, to interpersonal communion.
