Christian vision of the educated woman: a few images from history

Abstract

It might seem that the vision of an educated woman is a discovery of modern times. Not at all! The Christian environment provides ample evidence that the education of women was not a rare occurrence. It can be observed that Christian traditions of intellectual women best withstood the test of time in Italy.
