Abstract

The article examines the concepts of truth and freedom, which, according to Tadeusz Kotarbiński, serve as ethical foundations of humanity. The philosopher from the Lviv-Warsaw school portrays the human condition as an internal struggle for identity, the world, and a better daily life based on the pursuit of truth and the utilization of the gift of freedom. These reflections aim to show how values such as love, truth, goodness, and beauty can inspire self-transformation and play a crucial role in building an ethical community.
