The Christian Family: Media Challenges and Euro-Orphanhood

Daniel Strzelczyk

Abstract

The article presents theoretical reflections on two main issues. It examines the role of traditional Christian values within the family, portrayed as communio personarum – a community of persons founded and sustained by love. The discussion also addresses contemporary challenges that families face, focusing particularly on the impact of social media on family life and the phenomenon of euro-orphanhood. The aim of the analysis is to provide a comprehensive view of the Christian family, considering both its fundamental values and current challenges, while proposing solutions to preserve the integrity and role of the traditional family. The article adopts an interdisciplinary approach, drawing on theological, pedagogical, psychological, and sociological perspectives.
