The Pope’s first pilgrimage to Poland is an extraordinary event.
People living in the communist block can meet with John Paul
II, who comes as a pilgrim to his country. The religious meeting
initiated many political changes, and for ordinary people it was
a huge experience that one must live in truth to oneself, God
and another man. Man has dignity and is called to great things
that he can accomplish in everyday life, among the people he
loves, who are next to him, in his family. The Pope’s teaching is
still relevant, it must be discovered and guided.
