Abstrakt
Youth ministry is one of the Church’s most important tasks.
In modern times, the relationship between young people and the
Church has changed significantly. Cultural and social changes
have shaped new generations of young people for whom faith
is no longer obvious. On the contrary, being an unbeliever becomes
a “normal” way of life for a young person. Pope Francis
noticed very quickly that the world of young people became
a missionary area for the modern Church. That is why he called
a Synod of bishops who took up the subject of youth ministry.
The post-synodal apostolic exhortation Christus vivit contains
lines for the renewal of youth ministry. The main ones are presented
in this article.
