We adopt the following definition of social attitudes: full subjectivity, lasting natural object-subject relationship. In addition to positive social attitudes, we also distinguish negative social attitudes. Positive attitudes include approval and disapproval. On the other hand, negative attitudes are seen in conformity and avoidance. Guided by the proposed definition, we conclude that there are only two true social attitudes: approval and disapproval. Conformity and avoidance are not social attitudes but antisocial ones. Promoting them will always undermine society because these attitudes inherently damage all social relationships or bonds. For a Christian, as an active member of social life, attitudes of conformity and avoidance are unacceptable.
